For eleven years I was the biology teacher at Dar es Salaam Secondary School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
