I taught mathematics at Eldoret Public School in Eldoret from 2002 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Simiyu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Simiyu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
