I taught physical education and English literature at Beacon Academy, San Nicolás de los Garza. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Silvia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
