For 25 years I was the special education teacher at Tlaquepaque Public School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Silvia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Silvia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
