Silvia Viola Mazza
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇹 Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- Little Hillcrest Workshop
- 1995 to 2017
- Italian, English
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 1995 in Palermo and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Silvia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
