Silvia N. Jiménez
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Stonebridge Trades Guild
- Since 2004
- Spanish, English
I've worked in baking since 2004. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,170 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Silvia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Silvia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
