I teach mathematics at Kingsway Middle School in Los Angeles since 2005. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Silvia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
