Silvia G. Luna

Computer science teacher at Coyoacán Boys' School, 1988 to 2004

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I played music while people worked. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Silvia

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

Subjects taught

Computer science Chemistry

What gifts mean to Silvia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
