I taught French at Fairview Academy in Scranton from 1984 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Silvia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
