Silke Schäfer
Tabla player and teacher in Regensburg
- 🇩🇪 Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany
- Central Choir
- 2007 to 2023
- English, German
I've played tabla from 2007 to 2023, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Silke
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Silke: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
