Helping people break into farming
- 🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
- Good Shepherd Foundation
- 1987 to 2025
- German, English
For 38 years I've mentored people in farming and engineering. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Silke
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Silke: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first farming job in 2012. I still have your notes. Greetings from Kinondoni.
