I taught physical education at Our Lady of Peace Technical College in Regensburg from 1987 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 4, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Silke
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Silke: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
