Silas Torres
Welding for 27 years in Auckland
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Sunrise Workshop
- 1983 to 2010
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1983 in Auckland and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Silas
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Silas: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
