For twelve years I have been the home economics teacher at Central Grammar School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Silas
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
