Silas J. Mason
Welding for 35 years in Reading
- 🇺🇸 Reading, Pennsylvania, United States
- Since 1991
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Reading and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Silas
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Silas: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
