I spent 23 years as a lecturer in nursing at Toronto State University in Toronto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as an accountant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Silas
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Silas: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
