For 14 years I've run the softball program at London Athletic Club in London. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Silas
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Silas: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Coventry.
