Sibel Şahin
Oud player and teacher in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Band
- Since 2007
- English, Turkish
I play oud and classical. I started in 2007 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sibel
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sibel: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
