Si-woo Hwang
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇷 Busan, Busan, South Korea
- Starlight Repairs
- 2015 to 2025
- Korean, English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2015 in Busan and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Si-woo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Si-woo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
