I teach special education at Westbrook High School in Pokhara since 1986. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Shyam
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shyam: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
