Shruthi G. Iyer

Retired economics lecturer

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • Beacon Institute of Technology
  • 2000 to 2012
  • English
I taught economics at Beacon Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2012, and supervised 47 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Shruthi

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
