Shruthi D. Balakrishnan
Mentor in engineering and small business
- 🇮🇳 Gaya, Bihar, India
- Gaya Youth Network
- Since 1990
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,300 people through Gaya Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Shruthi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Shruthi: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
