Shreya W. Deshmukh
Keeper of the literacy programs
- 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- 1996 to 2007
- English
I worked at Kolkata Reading Room from 1996 to 2007. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I watch every football match going.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Shreya
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Shreya: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.

You put the perfect book in my hands when I was 15. Greetings from Houston.
