Shota Makoto Endo
28 years teaching history in Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Since 1994
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Shota
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Shota: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 1995 at Windsor Girls' School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
