Shivam R. Kushwaha
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- The Salem Repairs
- Since 1993
- English, Hindi
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Salem, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Shivam
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Shivam: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
