Shirley Yang
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
- Sydney Workshop
- 2009 to 2023
- English
I've worked in thatching from 2009 to 2023. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 480 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
