I teach religious studies and art at Ottawa Girls' School, Ottawa. My door was open at lunch.
I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Shirley
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
