Retired mathematics teacher from Mount Pleasant Academy

For ten years I was the mathematics teacher at Mount Pleasant Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Shirley
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
