I taught English literature and history at Belfast Boys' School, Belfast. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Shirley
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shirley: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
