Shirley K. Austin
Elderly befriending organizer in Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Crescent Mutual Aid
- 2015 to 2024
- English
I've volunteered with Crescent Mutual Aid from 2015 to 2024. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
