Shirley Cole
Organic chemistry lecturer, Since 2015
- 🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
- Leeds Polytechnic
- Since 2015
- English
I teach organic chemistry at Leeds Polytechnic since 2015, and supervised 19 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Shirley
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Shirley: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
