Shireen T. Nel

Statistics and agriculture teacher, Ekurhuleni

  • Harbor Academy
  • Since 1982
  • English, Zulu
Harbor Academy is my second home. I teach statistics there since 1982, mostly mixed-ability classes. I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.

What gifts mean to Shireen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
