For 19 years I ran the athletics program at Jerusalem Bamboo Boxing Gym in Jerusalem. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Shira
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Shira: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
