Shinji Noboru Kaneko
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Sakai Pottery
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Little Sakai Pottery
- Since 2000
- Japanese
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2000 at Little Sakai Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Shinji
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Shinji: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
