For 22 years I was the early years teacher at Sakai Middle School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
