Shinji Koji Yokoyama
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- The St. Anne's Trades Guild
- Since 1992
- Japanese
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1992 in Shinjuku and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Shinji: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
