I coached athletics at Savar Youth Club from 2015 to 2023. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Shima: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
