Shima Shahana Barua
Teacher at Willow Creek Public School, loves history

I taught history at Willow Creek Public School in Bengaluru from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Shima
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shima: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
