Helping people break into recovery

  • 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
  • Crescent Foundation
  • 2007 to 2025
  • English, Bengali
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 700 people through Crescent Foundation. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

What gifts mean to Shima: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
