Shima Nusrat Rashid
Choir director and singer
- 🇧🇩 Chattogram, Chattogram, Bangladesh
- 1994 to 2023
- English, Bengali
I play choir direction and oud. I started in 1994 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
More about Shima
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Shima: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
