Shima Nusrat Paul
Painter, potter and teacher at Bengaluru Art Collective
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Bengaluru Art Collective
- 1995 to 2013
- English, Bengali
I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1995 at Bengaluru Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Bengaluru Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shima
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Shima: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
