I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 260 people through St. Joseph's Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Shima: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
