I'm a ceramics artist based in Pune. I've been making things since 1993 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shima
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Shima: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
