Shima Mim Saha
Religious studies and early years teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Unity Technical College
- Since 1995
- English, Spanish
I teach religious studies at Unity Technical College in Dhaka since 1995. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Shima
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Shima: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
