Shima Lipi Dutta
Classical player and teacher in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Our Lady of Peace Band
- 2001 to 2015
- English, Bengali
I play classical and folk music. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Shima
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Shima: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
