Shima Joya Howlader

Professor of agriculture, Sakura Polytechnic

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Sakura Polytechnic
  • Since 1984
  • English, Bengali
I teach agriculture at Sakura Polytechnic since 1984, and supervised 16 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Shima: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
