I teach special education at Dhaka Secondary School in Dhaka since 1983. Most days I teach Year 9, and my door is open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Shima
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shima: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
