I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Shilpa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me special education in 2003 at St. Anne's Secondary School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
