I've been writing from 1982 to 2004. First as a hobby, then as a job and finally as the thing I couldn't stop doing.
I run a small writing group that meets every second Thursday. I never rush a conversation.
What gifts mean to Shilpa: A gift would give me a bit more time to write instead of taking on extra work.
