Shilpa M. Dwivedi
Professor of sociology, Phoenix University
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Phoenix University
- 1980 to 2015
- English, Hindi, Spanish
My subject is sociology, and for 35 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Phoenix University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Shilpa
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Shilpa: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
